About Martin Goode
Martin met his wife Rebecca at Prairie Bible College and married, knowing God’s calling on their lives for pastoral ministry. Now 31 years in the AGC, Martin began part-time in Bridgewater NS, then 12 years as an associate at Peoples Church of Montreal, before moving with their four children to become Senior Pastor of Grace Gospel Church, Niagara Falls. Martin has worked “shoulder-to-shoulder” with the Niagara Falls City Church Network, appreciating the role of Christ’s (diverse) Church in fulfilling the mandate of making disciples until Christ returns. But the AGC has always had a special place in Martin’s heart—ever since the church plant in Bridgewater that his family was part of from the start, to being part of AGC leadership at various levels. Along with preaching, leading and pastoral care, nothing brings more joy to his heart than seeing people “get it”—to understand God’s Word and grow to follow close to Jesus more faithfully, confidently, and fruitfully
